Breeder of quality Alaskan Malamutes since 1981, Champions, Records of Merit, Specialty Wins, now I'm attempting to achieve working titles with my main goal of finishing the Yukon Quest (1000 mile) Sled Dog Race. I moved to Alaska in 2000 with this goal. Our breed should be more than just beautiful it should be functional. I have been documenting all effects of running this breed and  the cold has on them and qualities we as breeders need to work on or we will lose completely. We are breeding very limitedly as our focus is on training, not raising pups.  I do have occassional litters and some adult dogs available. Any breeding done is with thought to health, function, attitude and keeping to the standard. Enjoy the site!!
